There’s a formal job description that lists a bunch of bullet points and requirements – but if you are ready to make a difference by solving real business problems, please read on.

I’m looking for a highly skilled, success-oriented, professional recruiter to support our growing organization. This is a highly visible position in which you lead full life-cycle recruiting from “kick-off to close” for a variety of executive, leadership, professional, technical, and operations roles within Laureate’s Information Technology function. This role is all about collaborating with hiring managers, business unit leaders, and other key stakeholders to effectively source, attract, and evaluate candidates and to lead the selection of top IT talent. Laureate is leading a revolution in learning for our students. We need you to help us find the people to make it happen.

Interested? This could be the career for you, if…

You can’t stand the thought of reactive, downstream, “administrative” recruiting. You are adaptable, change direction easily, and don’t sweat the small stuff. You are as comfortable picking up the phone and recruiting “old school” (e.g., phone calls and handshakes) as you are using all the modern internet resources and whizbang technology (e.g., email, social media, Boolean, etc.). You have a passion for ridiculously high customer service, you don’t make excuses, and you couldn’t imagine letting a client down. You believe there is no more important work within an organization than providing the right talent, in the right place, at the right time.

Recruiting isn’t just a job – it’s the lifeblood of any organization. We are often the thin line between a company’s greatest success or its ultimate failure. Without great people, the best laid strategies and plans gather dust or fall short of their potential.

And that’s where we come in. We can be superheroes.

You could recruit anywhere, for anyone. But wouldn’t you rather be part of something amazing? Something that enriches lives. Something where you leave a mark beyond just filling a job?

You can do that here. With me and the rest of the great team at Laureate.

If you think you have what it takes to make your dent in the universe, call me at (410) 984-2610 or email me directly at brenden.wright@laureate.net.

Brenden

P.S. Leadership is “being there.” While some roles can be done remotely, this one can’t. We’ll need you in Baltimore or Columbia to make the right kind of impact.
